in the Alt Deutsch style. This is an exceptional clock. The only minor shortcoming is a couple of hairlines in the dial (no chips). The case has full standing columns with button trim, a built-in pediment top with gallery and a bracket type base with matching trim. The hand made Vienna movement has no markings nor numbers but is a superior movement, well finished, and with original hands. Weights are nice with knurled tops and old hooks; smooth pendulum bob. Left side glass needs replacing; beat scale intact; overall excellent; height 56" Reserve $2000
