The tip of the beak of the lower left hen has been missing a long time, and the comb feathers of the rooster are broken off in the rear (neither of these is too noticeable). The detail on the leaves and the bird feathers and feet in amazing. Typical French 8-day time and strike movement. The hands have been painted white to make them easier to read. Note individual cartouche numerals on the wooden dial; the number VII is replaced by a close match. Height 20 inches $1500-1800
