with ormolu mounts. This clock is on the small side, with 3" dial and 4" brilliant ring (ring swings from side to side when clock runs). The ormolu retains original frosty yellow gilding, and the detail on the mounts is very fine. The porcelain dial is excellent with polychrome floral decorations. Note the ring hangs a tiny bit lower that we are used to seeing, and it appears that a shorter suspension spring would correct this.
