There is a spring motor (dirty and not running) in the base which rotates the "beacon' via a shaft up the center; open small door in base to expose winding arbor. The beacon contains an aneroid barometer which does not work, two thermometer scales, (missing thermometers), and the French time only movement replaced by a small German fit up movement (which will tick). The railing around the rotating beacon is distressed and needs attention. When they are complete and correct, these bring around $1800. Height 17.5'
