This is a good looking clock and functions well; both the small platform time movement and the spring motor for the windmill are in operating order. The only minus on this clock is the fan, which is a hand made replacement. The original fan had 4 vanes with 18 crossings each, and these have only 8 each, plus made of heavier material. As a replacement, it has some age, and one vane has been broken and soldered. The case is brass, mounted to a black marble base. Original, these bring around $4000; Height 17.5'
