in very good original condition. This is a good looking clock and functions well; both the small platform time movement and the spring motor for the windmill are in operating order. The round tower has the look of being built of brick (lines cast into the brass). Interestingly the center section of the mill has an additional texture to the bricks that certainly required a lot of work to "roll' into the brass. Time movement is 8-day; animation runs for a few hours on a winding. A nice example. For literature, see Derek Roberts' Mystery, Novelty and Fantasy Clocks, page 265. Height 17.5" $3000-4000
