Robed male and female figures with fine facial detail, eyes, hair etc, in a garden setting with carved palms and other flowers. Noteworthy is that the rear of the case is as nicely carved as the front. The owner just had the movement professionally cleaned; time and strike on a bell. See also the gold leaf highlights on edges of robes and flowersÖthe original gold has some wear and has NOT been touched up. Very minor damage to tips here and there. Overall excellent. Height 21.5'
