The clock has been stripped and the gilt gesso trim molding rubbed to chalk, OR it would be excellent. Some one wrote in pencil on the dial an 1871 date (can be erased), but the Courier model does not appear until the 1881 catalog (an effort to spice up the OG style). The veneer grain is quite lively and this clock would finish up nicely. 30-hour, T/S/Alarm; height 17 '
