and with the case finished in the style of Vernis Martin, profusely decorated with flowers (front, sides and rear)) and with a flirtation scene below the dial, the artwork signed A. Leroy. The well made gong strike movement is by Marti, and also signed "A-1". The movement has been serviced, but the replacement pendulum is too long (simple to shorten), and the strike side will not stop striking. The images of this clock speak for themselvesÅ .it is simply one of the nicest ones we've seen in a long while, and well worth the adjustments on the movement. Porcelain dial is perfect.
