This clock has been repainted a color with more purple than the dark maroon inside, and scrollwork on the lower door was incorrectly gilded. The ad slogan itself is not repainted (painter went "round the letters carefully). Now the rest the clock is super, original dial and label. For further details, refer to Baird Advertising Clocks by Jerry Maltz, pages 20-21. If this had the original paint, we would expect it to bring $2000. Height 30'
