The read out dial (with 5 subsidiary dials) is mounted in a beautifully hand carved mahogany wall bracket. The read-out is mechanically sound and can be shown to advance manually; we are unsure of the electrical restoration necessary. With excerpts from a treatise on meteorological Instruments by Negretti and Zambra, dated 1864. The chimney cap is about 10' in diameter, the dial is 2', propeller 19.5'
