See lot 274 which is undoubtedly by the same maker. This clock has fancy flying buttresses at each corner, while 274 has simple turned columns. The engraving on 484 is geometric with stars and square patterns, while 274 has a floral motif. The only flaw in this clock is that it received rough handling in shipment and the porcelain dial has several hairlines (not too noticeable). Attractive blue numerals on dial, and well chased hands. Height 13.5'
