Charles Allix writes that this is "a very fine maker'. This is a time and strike clock (note clock strikes on interior gong), clean, with new Swiss platform and running well. Note unusual cast brass dial with individual cartouche numerals; each side with arched beveled glass intact. Note: New Haven made a similar clock, about 15 percent smaller, called the "Adela'. Height 10'
