combination with astrological motif, the base decorated with enamels on porcelain of the 12 Zodiac signs, and the globe containing the movement, covered with little gilt bronze stars. Note the calendar has openings to display the month, date and day of the week. These indications are in English, and each roller is turned manually with a little bronze button on the enamel surface of the calendar mechanism. The Marti bell strike movement is of good French quality. The case is all brass and ormolu. Height 16" $2500-3000
