with very unusual pendulum ring that rotates back and forth around the margin of the dial. This "pendulum" is really acting like a giant balance wheel, with gilded fleur-de-lis all around the margin to give it avisual appeal. The well made Lot 429 movement is signed "GLT" (Guilmet), and with number 593. The gold lacquered case is decorated with flowers, and with tasteful ormolu trim and feet. We have never seen this model of lyre before, with rotating rather than oscillating ring. Running briskly. Height 19" Reserve $3500
