with barometer, compass, thermometer and 2 globes, one terrestrial and one celestial. The globes turn manually as you expect, and there is no automaton involved. Like most of the clocks in this collection, the platform movement is in working order. The globes are 4 inch in diameter, setting in stands, with the thermometer in the middle, barometer above and a compass on top. The terrestrial globe with old repairs in 3 places (visible only on close inspection), and the celestial globe is undamaged. Both globes are signed E. Bertaux, Editeur, Rue Serpente 25, Paris . Since the photo was taken, the barometer lens and pointer have been reunited with the case (and the barometer was upside down, now upright). Height 16" Reserve $5000
