model mantel clock, featuring the tower, key, transmission wires, etc. The clock is contained in a tub on top of the tower, and has a fancy porcelain dial. Behind the clock is mounted a circular scale thermometer (C_ +intact), and to the left in a simulated transformer, is mounted an Aneroid barometer. When you lower the switch handle to the right of the clock, a chain turns a shaft up the center of the tower, thus rotating and exposing the clock to a person sitting opposite you; note 2 cosmetic brass separators are missing from the tower (barely noticeable). The dial of the thermometer is signed: J. LeRoy Fils., 55 Fbg. Poissonniere, Paris. The whole attached to a heavy brass plate, in turn mounted to a red marble base with brass footing. Height 12" $4000-5000
