The original gilding on the ormolu is very good (outer edges with wear), and the 30-hour movement is clean and going. There is a tiny old repair, almost unnoticeable in the porcelain panel surrounding the dial (below 8). The other panels are perfect, their delicate hand painted scenes depicting lovers singing and lovers in repose, and around the dial, angels singing in the clouds. Note close-up area is one inch wide. Height 7'
