with large, Morez, iron framed prayer repeat movement. The enamel over steel dial signed Alfred Augendre, Chateaumeillant. The outer frame is gesso over wood, false grained, and the dial surround is of walnut veneer with brass and mother of pearl inlay in excellent condition (usually the brass string is pulled out). Retains original hands, dial bezel, pendulum, etc. Note suspension spring has failed and will need renewing (leader is there). Minor nicks and scrapes to case and frame; nothing glaring; overall very good. If maintained, these heavy Morez movements will last 5 lifetimes; height 25" Reserve $300
