from the Industrial Series of clocks. The boiler has pipes and gauges, and the 8-day platform clock and aneroid barometer are set in the side of the round boiler. The fly-ball governor at top is driven by a separate movement in the base and runs for several hours on a winding. Both movements are in working order. Note both the clock and the barometer are the same diameter, and the 2 "sisters" to this clock, pictured in Derek Roberts' book: Mystery Novelty and Fantasy Clocks, (1999), pages 263+265, show the clock in the bottom fire box; does not affect the value. Height 14" Reserve $5000
