in a walnut Baroque case. This case is unusual in that the original crest was carved separately and then attached to the flat top case. It looks quite good, but a little different than we are used to seeing. This clock, from the Bednarik collection, has been in storage, and although it runs and strikes, the gut is old and will need replacing. Note embossed pattern on dial center, weights and pendulum and original Becker pulleys. The well made Becker movement is serial no. 135567, slightly different than the number on the mounting bracket. The ivory colored porcelain dial with red trim between the numerals. Minor tips missing on door trim, but generally a very good clock; Height 47" $2000-2500
