The oak case on this clock is attractively carved with grape vines, intertwined scrolls and gargoyles; the side frets are also well carved; the whole with English oak finish. The brightly gilded dial mask and spandrels are heavy ormolu, and the silvered chapter ring is finely engraved, and with a mat finish dial center.
