This clock has an interesting "dealer option" pull-wind music box (see gold pull cord in photo), that plays a lively, crisp tune. By all appearances the music box has been there a hundred years. The rest of the clock is really "virtually new'; the case has been cleaned with cotton cleanser, but retains original finish; the bronze ornamentation is all intact and bright; the brass dial retains original patina, never polished and the 12 cartouche numerals are all perfect. The only missing items are the two cast brass nuts that go on the bottom of the weights. The sister to this clock just sold at Gene Harris" auction for $10,000. Height 46 '
