in outstanding original condition. The well made Japy movement running and striking on a coiled wire gong. Note the red, white, blue and aqua enamel trim is in three bands, across pediment, top and base AND on all 4 sides, as well as the pendulum and dial. The gilded dial retains the original retailer's name: Bailey, Banks and Biddle, Philadelphia. Each corner of the case has a full twisted column, mounted at 45_ to each side, and complemented with 4 turned finials and feet. Best part is the original frosty gilding in excellent condition. Height 12" $1500-2000
