in very good original condition. This was our most difficult clock to photograph because the rococo style case changes directions everywhere. The case has blue crossed forks trademark. A lady in waiting is reclining pensively, with cupid at her side. His quiver of arrows lays on the ground and he is playing a flute. She has a bread stick in her left hand. Facial features are in fine detail. Note 2 small defects: cupid's flute has its end broken away and also his little finger; we looked at this for a week until we saw the damage; the rest is intact (and all fingers and toes on both figures are individual) Fancy porcelain dial with polychrome floral designÅ .see close up. With a miniature French platform movement and finely chased and gilded hands. Height 11" Expected to attract interest beyond the reserve of $650
