C.1900, French, Love, figural clock set with side garnitures. A beautiful young lady with pensive face holds a quiver of arrows, tied with a garland, which have been dropped by cupid, standing off to the left, an arrow in his right hand. This is a lovely motif and the bronzed white metal retains original finish in outstanding condition. The well made round, bell strike movement is running and striking, but would benefit from service. The dark pink veined marble bases match perfectly on all 3 pieces, and the urns, decorated profusely with garlands and a cherub, would hold a large candle if desired. Note all pieces are quite heavy and you will think it is bronze when you pick it up. A very impressive mantel clock set (safe shipping will require partial disassembly). Height 20 inches Reserve $700
