Fortunately no-one ever polished this case and although there is minor wear to the gilding around the hinges and pull knobs, it really is exceptional. The rear door glass has a minor corner chip; otherwise the heavy beveled glass is perfect. With a good gong-strike movement by Marti (A-1 Importers), numbered 3177. Fancy porcelain dial is perfect, as is mercury pendulum. Height 10.5'
