C.1910, French Westminster Wall Clock in a Louis XVI style wall case, and with quality Gustav Becker movement (original and with unusual stamp - Fabrique Allemain, made by Becker especially for the French clock company). This is a very attractive case with S curve or bombay sides, all with attractive burled walnut veneer, accented at top with ormolu trim, and the door with a piece of heavy beveled glass. Plays Westminster tune on the quarters on straight steel rods. Original silvered dial with minor tarnishing and orig hands. Runs but would benefit from service; the case with a dozen or so wood worm holes. Height 33" Reserve $400
