silvered and gilt brass, profusely engraved and with filigree and semi-precious stones and pearls on all 4 sides and the top. The clock (watch) movement has been changed, and the old dial held to the later movement with licorice chewing gum (just when I thought I had seen everything). The musical movement is sound and plays a lively tune on demand. As a decorative item, this certainly wins first prize in the "extravagant" category. If you are a watchmaker, you can deal with the movement and dial. Height 7" Reserve $2200
