C.1919 (dated), rare Franz Vosseler 30-Day Mantel timepiece

(less dome), mini-Louvre design. This is the second Vosseler we've had winding at 9 instead of 6; the plates are otherwise identical to Horolovar no. 1145A. Note mini disc pendulum (separate image) Seems to run a bit fast, probably due to short or incorrect suspension wire; lower block is also incorrect. Base has a stress crack that has been repaired with soft solder (doesn't look so bad). Hands and dial are original. Base engraved with a presentation dated 1919. Height 8 " Reserve $500
