A clock MOVEMENT, for which a tall case has been made, C.1991 by Varne Kimmick. The Edwardian lines of the case hide the fact that it is made of solid walnut and very heavy. The trim moldings are from Carpenter's Supply, adapted to fit the case. Two of the chime rods (standard dimension) are broken off and in the bottom of the case. Otherwise the clock is complete and sound and in running order. The heavy well made movement bears the Lenzkirch trademark, as does the gong assembly. Our estimate figures around $300 for the movement and the balance for the case. Height 82" $400-600
