C.1910, German, Moving Eye Minstrel clock. They made these clocks with frogs and other performers, however this particular one is a black minstrel, complete with his fiddle, and booze bottle in his right hand.
But the best part is the animation of the eyes, which move back and forth to the ticking of the clock, and he really appears to be looking you over. ...
