German Vienna regulator, 2 weight, 8 day, striking a rod gong on half hours and hours. The movement is signed, "W.F.", and may have started life in another case.
I feel sure the gong base is not original to this case. If you can get past those changes the rest is a piece of cake. Awfully pretty beveled and lead...
