Serial number 10, with Smith signature stamp on rear of dial, and with original wall mount. Smith's lifetime production was 565 units, so this is indeed an early clock. He made a special wooden sleeve to cover the weight which is missing, but the clock is otherwise complete, sound, and original (including small wooden counter balance on other end of cord). Each case he made was slightly different, with different woods (always solid), and different pattern inlays. The cover on this one has an attractive thin candy stripe. Every component is of very good quality. Runs; dial is fading; minor nicks, but nothing unexpected for a 67 year old clock. Sure to be of interest to Vermonteers. (dated January 1933) Height of clock 12" - overall 24" Reserve $350
