The bird retain his feathers in good condition (and quite colorful), and he sings his song crisply with plenty of volume, all the while fluttering his wings and opening his beak. The cast brass box has a filigree pattern on all surfaces of the outside, including the lid. See detail image, showing yellow, violet and green feathers. Box measures 2 x 4 x 1 inches high .
