Charlie imported a run of 2000 of these, and they have become quite collectible; this one is number 561. The Briggs was an American adaptation of the European "conical pendulum' clock, commonly called a "rotary pendulum". The desirable feature of this model is the 8-day duration. This is a one owner, from the Dunn family and in outstanding original condition. In the close-up the suspension thread and pendulum ball are visible in front of the dial. Walnut base with glass dome; Height 8'
