An extremely well proportioned and unusually low English George III oak cased longcase clock, the 8-day movement with brass dial silvered chapter and seconds ring surrounded by foliate cast brass spandrels with a silvered and engraved sunburst disc to the breakarch, these low height oak longcase clocks are quite unusual and usually came from the servants quarters. 81" x 18" x 9" Additional keywords: longcase, tallcase, grandfather
