An English all mahogany breakarch painted dial moonroller longcase clock by "Carruthers" of Carlisle. Painted flower spandrels with globes below breakarch . The moonroller disc with a scene of a French galleon at sea and a scene of a country chapel. The case with canted corners, square flamed mahogany door, flame mahogany base with ebony and boxwood stringing sitting on ogee feet. Corinthian capitals to hood with rounded balustrade columns. Four pillar 8 day movement with subsidiary seconds and date. 92" x 21" x 10" Additional keywords: longcase, tallcase, grandfather
