An English fine quality flame mahogany cased early silvered dial gothic bracket clock. The finely carved mahogany case with very well figured mahogany. The 8- day 2- train gut fusee movement with hour and half hour strike on a large nickered bell signed and dated "D.Shaw", Leicester 1839. The Engraved silvered one piece dial with black roman numerals and strike /silent facility in the break-arch. Circa 1839. 28" x 18" x 10"
