French Empire four glass clock Circa 1860 An Empire French four glass clock by "Raingo Freres", Paris, the original mercury gilded case with four empire columned torches surmounted by a grey marble and ormolu mounted urn. Gilt ormolu laurel wreath feet, 8-day French movement by "Raingo Fres" with hour and half hour strike on a bell, finely made gridiron regulator pendulum, the convex white enamelled dial with blue roman numerals and raised gilt flowers for the half hour marks. 20" x 10" x 5.5"
