Japanese 8 day time strike wall clock with hand grained finish. The movement is a nice copy of an American movement. Overall size is 18 1/2" tall, 9 1/4" wide, 5" dial. Was overhauled 4 years ago, runs well. The person we bought this from said there is an identical clock in a museum in Hiroshima. Made about the year 1900. One year warranty. Has some scratches and indentations in the finish and there used to be a presentation plaque at the top. Has a two inch long narrow chip in the left side of the case.
