Case: crotch grained mahogany with great finish, 85" high; Dial marked with makers name that can't be read and Glasgow. Painted dial depicting world union. Four corners each with a women, marked Europe ( with a white horse, sailing ships with the British flag ), Asia ( with a camel, the Koran, pyramid, and a Temple) , Africa ( with a Black man with a bow and an elephant), America ( with a rattlesnake, aligator and full size barrel). Works: Second and date dials. Heavy brass 8 day wieght driven with chime on bell. Condition: Case; excellent: Works; some old repairs to the strike count lever but overall in very good condition and not worn out, clean and running; Additional keywords: longcase, tallcase, grandfather
