Case made with marble from Ashford in Derbyshire. he case looks like it has been hand-carved from a solid piece of marble! in fact, most of it has been with just the top and bottom sections being cemented on. The movement is a French Japy Freres of good quality which would have been fitted by the retailer of the clock. In full working order and the case is in excellent condtion. Dimensions are 13.5" high, 5" deep and 10 3/4 " Additional keywords: mantle, mantel, shelf
