The lower plaque is engraved with name of fictitious maker, place and date: James Kilner, Bedefordiae, Anno Domini 1670. The case is of dark fumed oak, and the movement of brass and steel. The brass dial is deeply engraved with 24 hours (IóXII TWICE), and with a single hand. Height 28"
