in good condition with restorations. This clock was stripped and refinished and the hands and glass replaced and a decal of the Maine installed. Otherwise it is a decent example of this desirable model, with original signed key. The Dewey is one of six clocks offered by Ingraham in the Army-Navy line. The others were: McKinley, Lee, the Maine, Peace and Emblem. For additional reference see Palmer's A Treasury of American Clocks, page 297-98. See also lot 229. Height 23"
