C.1893, Waterbury, "Regulator No. 21" wall clock

in good condition with restorations. This clock has some potential, but is suffering from some amateur restoration. First, the bottom 8" are newly made and close but no cigar for configuration. Second when he refinished the clock he picked a stain with too much red so it looks "cherry" from a distance. Finally the weights are newly made, not bad, but could use top covers. Ly prices this at $3000 in the new 2001 book, so we believe our estimate allows for condition. Dial, movement and pendulum are original, clean and running. 2-weight, time only; key lock door; Height 55"
