in the Viennese style, and in generally good original condition. This clock is serial number 543,218 which puts it in the 1885-86 period. The well made movement retains a perfect porcelain dial and original hands and dial grommets. The movement is original to the case, and strikes the hours and halves on a straight steel rod. The only questionable part of the clock is the floral carving on top of the crest, which is likely from a C.1900 Austrian night stand. However, it looks OK and you may choose to leave it there. The cord has frayed and will need replacing. Height 49"
