This clock was professionally cleaned prior to shipment, and seems to run and strike OK. Has an off-standard suspension spring, but seems to work OK as well. There is a chip in the dial at 6 because someone turned the rear retainer screw in too tight (it really only needs to be snug). The ebonized case is adorned with repousse brass on top, bottom and on the barley twist columns. Height 20 inches
