Terryville, CT 30-hour cigar box/cottage clock. An extremely rare example with a round plate 30-hour time and alarm movement with the springs behind the back plate. Alarm strikes on a gong rather than a bell. The clock is entirely original with a wonderful front glass and never had a label. Case is veneered on the front in well figured mahogany. A virtually identical clock can be seen in the NAWCC bulletin no. 299, p. 742. Height 11 inches
