19th Century mantel variety. Like its cousin in the previous lot, this clock was made to fill the demand for 17th century styling. The clock employs a reliable and well made 2-fusee movement complete with original fusee chains and pendulum. This clock is in excellent original condition, the non-lacquered brass with a warm brown patina, and the movement running and striking loudly on the overhead bell. One side door hasp has broken away from the latch and will need peening in place (taped inside door). Height 15º"
